Standard First Aid / CPR – Level A

Course Description

Comprehensive two-day course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course meets Canada Labour Code and WSIB requirements for workplaces with more than five employees. Students will also learn and be certified to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines from the Canadian Red Cross. Exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content, CPR and AED. All students will receive the Canadian Red Cross First Aid & CPR    Manual and Certification card.

Course Duration: 14-16 hours

Recertification Course Duration: 6-8 hours

Certification: 3 years

Maximum 18 participants per session
